Founder of Optimized Presence
I was always interested in technology and when I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management I discovered that the classes that I enjoyed, and excited me the most, were the classes that merged business and technology. I furthered my knowledge by earning a Masters degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and also a Masters degree in Networking Communications.
After graduation I joined Bid on Equipment which is an online business connecting buyers and sellers of used manufacturing, packaging, restaurant and various other small business equipment categories. I became an expert in Google analytics and placed it on the website enabling me to apply Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to maximize the performance. I then started our monthly newsletter program and in early 2012 we started exploring an entire site redesign. I spoke with customers about how we could improve the site and what we could do to make it easier for them to use and we launched the redesigned site in November 2012 with improved results. I continue to work at Bid on Equipment and help with all aspects of our technology.
In addition to my full time commitment to Bid on Equipment, I volunteered to help with a non-profit website that has been very important to my Father’s family and it has evolved to where I have completely re-designed the site and am the sole manager of it. I thoroughly enjoy working with small businesses and using my education and experience to help them grow by improving their on-line site. I founded Optimized Presence to work with small businesses and become a small business owner myself.
